Relax as you eat, drink and enjoy the ambiance at your choice of 12 different venues throughout the Broke Fordwich region, all bringing their own particular flair to the Italian theme. Some venues also offer activities and some will be serving dinners through the festival weekend.

Visit and Taste wines Inspired by Passion from the largest organic vineyard in the Hunter Valley. Enjoy an early morning organic coffee and tea under the Silk Tree with CWA baked goods. Enjoy Chef inspired freshly prepared lunch including vegetarian three cheese arancini, bruschetta with feta,vegetarian and vegan, beef or vegetarian lasagna with salad, Italian sausage with peperonata on panini roll, River Flats hot olives and condiments, Paris Creek Organic Cheeses, Salted Caramel Panna Cotta with chocolate ganache gluten free, cannoli with honey and ricotta. Local fresh vegetable and fruit, plant and wood carving stalls and workshops, cultural tours and live music.

A weekend of Italian experiences. Gnocchi making classes, olive oil appreciation, cheese making with Guiseppe from Vannella cheese, lunch each day by Hunter Valley’s own Il Cacciatore restaurant, coffee, gelato and biscotti by Duccio, Saturday night dinner by Matteo of Tuscany Untouched Tours, market stalls, live music from The Caballeros and of course the wines of Catherine Vale including Italian varietals Barbera, Dolcetto and Arneis.

At Greenway we grow great Fiano, Grigio, supple Merlots and award-winning Shiraz – oh and a cheeky Rose. Why not order your Italian gourmet picnic hamper packed with yumminess and find your place at the long red table? Complement this with Barista coffee and Italian desserts! Settle in and enjoy our smooth guitar blues tunes.

The Windrim family welcome you to bring a picnic rug or share one of our long luncheon tables in our beautiful cellar door courtyard and surrounding gardens. Described as “a little bit of Tuscany in the Hunter”, it’s the ideal spot to enjoy a glass of wine and wood fired oven pizzas, traditional homemade gnocchi, cheese platters, sweet crepes, coffee, cold drinks and sweets. Live music by La Tarantella Guitar Duo.

Join us for a weekend celebrating La Dolce Vita! Our signature Friday night dinner, La Grande Fiesta features an Italian inspired menu, wines and live entertainment. On the weekend, our stunning courtyard transforms to an Italian Piazza featuring casual Italian fare, olive sampling and wine tasting. Learn how to make pasta like a pro and our Negroni Masterclasses will have you stirring and sipping your way to the perfect Italian cocktail.
Alfresco Dining and Party with views across the Mount Broke Wines Vineyard. Wood Fired Napoli Pizza, Antipasto, Truffle Gnocchi, Chili Prawn Linguine, Vegetable Linguine, Arancini, Italian Desserts. Complement with our estate-grown Semillon, Verdelho, Shiraz Tempranillo, Shiraz, Barbera, plus Italian Beer, Espresso, San Pellegrino.
Enjoy an Italian inspired lunch while you relax on the lawn of with delicious food, wine and live music. Amazing “Yellow Rock” view and our beautiful vineyard, the best spot to relax and enjoy our delightful Italian desserts. Nightingale’s premium and reserve range of wines will be available, along with beer, coffee, Italian cocktails and soft drinks. Also serving breakfast between 8.30am and 11am all weekend. Family friendly, down to earth Pasquales@somerville offers something that’s “Not Quite Italian”- an Aussie take on traditional dishes. Expect Pasquale’s home-made sausage, vegan alternatives and wood fired pizza. Chill out drinking sangria, the Barbalance family wines, or locally roasted Suspension coffee served up with funky beats. For something different, join in a Burlesque dancing workshop 10:30am each day of the festival.

Be exported to the Amalfi Coast at our brand new cellar door! Indulge your taste buds with a platter of salumi e formaggi, local olives and fresh focaccia, minestrone and frittata. Bring a picnic rug or settle in at one of the tables in the cellar door and gardens. Sample our premium wines: Chianti style reds, still and sparkling Rose and Chardonnay. Craft beer, espresso coffee, tea and San Pellegrino also available.
Among the vines of Tinonee Vineyard Estate, celebrate A Little Bit of Italy with arancini balls and authentic woodfired Neapolitan pizza by Australia’s No. 1 pizzaolo, Lucio de Falco, Italian-styled gelato by Mr Goaty’s Gelato, and the estate grown, single vineyard wine of 1813.
Discover our passion and learn the secrets of artisan winemaking and olive oil production. Be tantalised by the aroma of freshly prepared traditional Italian food; dine alfresco or bring a picnic rug and indulge with beautiful food, delicious olive oil and desserts matched with our premium wines. Children are welcome to explore the cubby house and enjoy ball games.
We are opening the doors to our brand new cellar door and will be offering savoury Italian canapes and delicious desserts. Our in-house artist will be painting, live music playing and you are invited to go for a walk across the stunning estate, enjoying sculptures and the beautiful perennial and rose garden designed by Paul Bangay.
